My surface book has caused me to get locked out of exams due to it freezing at random times, or crashing, and even during my live classes. Spend money on trash that no one seems to want to help me with. Then when I try to engage in the chat, I keep getting told that the chat is closed, even though the hours it gives me says it's open! I haven't been happy with any of the support I've received at all! I didn't I've been waiting to get support for my surface book 3, and I haven't been able to get in contact with anyone!!!! I've tried waiting on the phone and then opt to take the callback later option where I'm toldĪbout 45 mins and then I never received the call. I've been livid with Microsoft support lately. My windows version is " Ver 2004 Build 19041.508Īlso, I would've contacted Microsoft, but every time I go on the chat, it says it's closed, and then when I call and have a spot for a call back number, they don't call me back. One thing I noticed that I think may be causing the problem is that the ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery driver seems to be missing. I have also ran the SFC scan now command and found nothing.

I have also downloaded and manually installed the Surface Book 3 current software, firmware, and drivers file “SurfaceBook3_Win10_18362_20.083.37048.0.msi”.I have checked the cables and reset the power supply unit.I have cleaned the pins on the connector with a pencil eraser and a wet cotton swab with rubbing alcohol.Removed the battery driver and installed updates.Changed the power connector orientation of the connector that directly enters the laptop and the connector that connects to the charging block.
